Hello Marty,
I look forward to reading the book for two reasons. My wife and I were part of a church plant called “The Journey”. We also had a desire to reach the unchurched. Our initial focus was on young adults and the many charismatics that were no longer attending a church. God had other plans though. We did reach some of our focus but found that we reached more folks our own age (40’s and 50’s). So secondly I’m looking forward to reading how a “traditional church” has spread God’s kingdom during transition.
After 4 years we closed our church plant. Our experience was a blessing. Would do it again, but with lessons learned, a bit differently. Joining Skelly Drive and serving under Art has also helped rekindle the desire too.

Bart-
That the Lord has you at Skelly is no accident. I trust that our story will encourage you and you and others encourage Art in his leadership journey.

You know, Marty, now that you’ve gotten this pesky book thing out of the way, you can finally get back to the really important stuff, like SBC politics!
Sorry, I just couldn’t resist.
